Antonia Lofaso
Antonia Lofaso's food offers a chance to discover the depths of her cooking. Food she cooks up is a result of her interest in the culture in Los Angeles, which was sparked by a trip from Long Island to Los Angeles from Long Island's suburbs. Cavatellis and carnitas coexisting in the same dish is what she believes in. All of her dishes are inspired by a distinct vision for the future, while also reminiscing about the old. Scopa Italian Roots was opened in 2013 by Lofaso and is influenced from her Italian American heritage. It received a warm welcome. Lofaso's rendition of old school Italian cuisine is one of the top restaurants in Los Angeles. Lofaso is described by many as a local favourite that serves up dishes that are authentic, tasty and warm. Lofaso learned from culinary giants who employed sophisticated methods. However, she didn't hesitate to take extreme chances to honor her own instincts. She soon rose to the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago, and then went into working closely with celebs in several Los Angeles kitchens. Lofaso, Sal Aurora, and Mario Guddemi partnered to open Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City in 2011. She was able to secure a place within Black Market as well as her partnerships. This collaboration would foster creativity and freedom Lofaso wanted. Black Market is not constrained to a specific direction and that's the goal. The course will begin with potato chips flavored with dill Shishito peppers, then finish with Korean wings. Antonia's vibrant flavors are the foundation of these bold flavors. Lofaso, throughout her professional career, has evaluated her success by how well she knows her target audiences. Also, she stays true to who she is. Her appearances on the Top Chef Chicago episode and Top Chef: All Stars emphasized her ability to express herself outside the cooking environment. Since then she's maintained her professional career before cameras with CNN's Restaurant Startup Judge, as well as recurring appearances on the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child. Lofaso joined forces with Penguin at the end of 2012 in order to publish The Busy Mum's Cookbook 100 Recipes for Delicious home-cooked Meals. This book also tells her story about the obstacles she faced while attending her first French Culinary Institute and raising her daughter Xea. Lofaso states that the reason for her achievements comes from the kitchen. That's how she stays on top on the current happenings. With her Chefletics brand, she's changing the look of her field by redesigning chefwear for both style and functionality. Lofaso believes in remaining true to your values and your vision. In order to achieve this, she's launched Antonia Lofaso Catering. The brand will provide a tailored experience to clients.
